The challenge

  • Over the years, Colruyt Group has been creating recipes for its different brands to strengthen the customer relation, providing original inspiration for better food consumption.
  • Very aware of the value that recipes show to the customer, Colruyt wanted a recipe management solution, to host and deploy recipes throughout all customer touchpoints.
  • Next to the “always available, API based” SAAS solution, it needed to be flexible enough to respond to the possible demand of the future.
  • Recipes were lacking data on additional attributes like nutritional value, Eco-Score, etc.

The solution

We created a secure SAAS solution, providing a user friendly interface, accompanied by a set of API’s, allowing seamless integration with existing management tools and digital customer touchpoints.

Thousands of recipes are now enhanced using SmartWithFood’s attribute enhancement engine, providing more transparency to the consumer, and adding filters to enable more detailed search in the recipe catalogue.
