International Business Developer

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

SmartWithFood is the smartest companion for your data & digital applications in personalized nutrition & health initiatives. We strive to simplify the consumers’ ability to make conscious food choices by offering plug-and play-tools to inform, inspire & recommend the right food for every individual.

We would like to build out our business within the European market and therefor we are looking for a sales-driven business developer.

What are your responsibilities?

  • Your primary focus will be to execute the sales strategy and to close contracts of our FAAS (Food-as-a- service) solutions to International retailers on a European level.
  • Be very active in business development on all levels (operational, tactical and strategical) and within different departments (IT, E-com, marketing, product information, etc.);
  • Arrange business meetings with prospects.
  • Promote the company’s products/services addressing or predict clients’ objectives.
  • Prepare sales contract, including full offering & pricing;
  • Your secondary focus will be the expanding of your customers and their services.
  • Provide trustworthy feedback and after-sales support.
  • Build long-term relationships with new and existing customers & partnerships (Microsoft, TCS, etc.)

Your profile?

 

  • 5+ years of SaaS sales experience and a demonstrable track record of meeting and exceeding aggressive sales targets. Retail/ CPG and e-commerce background are a plus!
  • Proven working experience as a business development manager, sales executive or a relevant role.
  • Proven sales trackrecord in contract closing.
  • Structured approach – clear reporting & follow-up capabilities.
  • Experience in customer support is a plus.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and CRM software (e.g. Salesforce)
  • Proficiency in English (any other languages is a plus)
  • Market knowledge.
  • Communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to build report.
  • Time management and planning skills.
  • Technology knowledge (product development).
  • Intense travel (60% of your time) in Europe.
